"cook's
night out" at cafe louis Cafe Louis at Louis Boston has been having "Cook's Night Out" events since late winter. For a few Thursday evenings each month, they invite some local well-known people to cook in the kitchen and have all of their friends in to eat. Dan DiBenedetto, a skilled cook and a clothing consultant at Louis, and I, a pastry enthusiast and sales support employee at Louis, successfully weaseled our way into the kitchen for the evening of Thursday, June 5th. Dan planned the savory courses and I developed, through weeks of trial and error, a dessert for the evening. And, unlike some other guest chefs, we actually worked in the kitchen for a few hours preparing the food before joining our friends to eat it. Click here for an HTML copy of the menu.
